Derek is a Trainer at IMS Learning Solutions, assisting in the delivery of change management and training initiatives for companies operating in the pharmaceutical sector. A seasoned consultant, he has extensive international managerial experience in sales & marketing and training & development, with a particular focus on Eastern European and Middle Eastern markets. He also has broad therapeutic expertise spanning infectious diseases, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology and nutritionals.
In a career that includes roles in major pharmaceutical, travel and financial organisations as well as management consultancies, including his own start-up company, Derek has developed numerous tailored internal development programs, as well as a successful training division. He has also had a long-standing partnership with the German consumer company, Henkel, in which he is an accredited HCEEA Academy member.
Derek holds an Honours Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bath in the UK.
