    Reinhard Angelmar is a pioneer in the area of condition branding.  As the Salmon and Rameau Fellow in Healthcare Management at INSEAD he is renowned as one of Europe’s foremost experts in pharmaceutical marketing.  He has built on the research carried out by IMS on launch excellence to examine the factors that lead to world-class pharmaceutical launches, including the degree to which firms have managed to succeed in condition branding. Other institutions at which he has held appointments include the Sloan School (MIT), the Stockholm School of Economics, and the University of Paris-Dauphine.

Professor Angelmar received his MBA and PhD from the Kellog School of Management, Northwestern University. He teaches a course on Pharmaceutical Marketing Strategy at INSEAD, has directed tailor-made INSEAD programmes for organizations such as Eli Lilly, Janssen-Cilag, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and the World Medical Association, and lectured or consulted for a series of pharma companies including Abbott, Almirall, BMS, Grünenthal, Ipsen, Novartis and Novo Nordisk. He is also a court expert for pharmaceutical litigation.

Professor Angelmar is the co-author of three books and has written numerous papers published in journals including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Industrial Economics and Journal of Medical Marketing.
