Course Description

This course teaches you how to use Dataview to obtain market research data from the IMS central mainframe system, and download it to a PC or LAN for manipulation and analysis.

This Course Will Enable You To:

Audience

This course has been designed for market research analysts, data technicians, product managers, and others who need to analyze IMS market research audit data. Recommended for clients that utilize the Dataview 4.0 Query Builder version.

Prerequisites

An overview knowledge of IMS pharmaceutical audits and PC literacy are required. You can gain an understanding of IMS information by attending the In Search of Solutions and/or Introduction to IMS Products & Services courses, or by completing the market research computer-based tutorials (CBTs), which are available upon request at time of registration. 

Note: This course is scheduled in conjunction with Dataview™ Analyzer course, so you may attend the complete three-days of Dataview courses at one time. When registering, please indicate if you will be attending one or both Dataview classes.
